Come one, come all! Please join us this Saturday for the opening night of Ryan Berkley's art show, 'Cinematic Fauna.'Fantastical, frightful, feathery, ferocious, friendly, furry, foul - "Cinematic Fauna" recognizes a select group of significant animals and beasts from cult cinema and television, teamed with iconic images that represent who they are, where they come from, or what they are about.
Ryan Berkley is an illustrator who is best known for his sophisticated animal portraits in addition to his pop culture and comic book-influenced art. He and his wife run one of the top-selling shops on Etsy.com and he has worked for a number of fun clients including Urban Outfitters, Nike, Land of Nod, Wired Magazine, Audubon Magazine, and The Discovery Channel. He works traditionally with markers and color pencil.
He is passionate about illustration, family, nature, toys, and comic art. He lives in the woods of Portland, Oregon with his ultra-talented wife Lucy, his mega-boisterous daughter Ramona, and his extra-gassy hound dog, Walker.
