Rebecca Solnit’s forthcoming book Infinite City: A San Francisco Atlas reimagines traditional map-making to chart not just space and place but people and time in 22 ineventive maps. From July through December, SFMOMA is issuing six broadside copies of seven maps. Each map launch is joined to a series of 75th anniversary Live Art events—both at the museum and “out there”—featuring many of Infinite City’s collaborating writers, artists, and cartographers.
