Fresh off the release of his double EP Home Ghost / Ghost of Payphone, Peck teams up with kindred locals The Stages of Sleep, JINGA, and Ryan Beebe of the Gomorrans: each act will play one or two songs and then rotate.Peck marries electric jazz and hip-hop into songs that progress like freestyles but maintain a keen production that keeps them tight and surprising, while JINGA combines flute and a loop station and The Stages of Sleep strum an alt-gypsy verve to their wistful Latin rock. Add a rare solo performance by The Gomorrans’ soulful and unpretentious frontman Ryan Beebe, and this should be a palette-testing celebration of original, Bay Area music.
This is Peck’s final Bay Area show before he embarks on a tour of the Pacific Northwest.
