Description
Golden Gate Opera is currently selecting 20 children, ages 7-13, to sing and perform the roles of the Gingerbread Cookie Children in Golden Gate Opera’s fully staged production of Hansel and Gretel by Englebert Humperdinck. Parents wishing their children to be involved should call 415-339-9546 for more information or call Conductor Lindsey McLennan at 415-497-7736 to sign them up. The final selections will be made on August 17 at the first rehearsal, please bring the children to this. The location for the Children’s Chorus rehearsals is:Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church

The opera, sung in English, will be performed at the Marin Center’s Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium located at 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 7:30pm and again on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 2:00pm.
