Description
When visiting one of the Bay Area’s bountiful cheese counters it may be difficult to imagine the thousands of cheeses that never see the west coast. Most cheeses from even not-so-exotic regions like Vermont and New York are a mystery to our mouths. But we at The Cheese School aim to remedy that. Cheese luminary Anne Saxelby will take you on a tasting tour of her backyard. If you don’t know who Anne is, well, you should read the New York Times a little more often. Proprietor of Saxelby Cheesemongers in Essex Street Market on the Lower East Side and her new location inside Daniel Boulud’s Epicerie Boulud, Anne focuses her cheese selection solely on those from the Northeast, most often working directly with cheesemakers.More Info
