09/20 - LOOP Presents: Cheap Thrills! (16mm/B&W/Color/Sound/80 min.)American burlesque is a genre of variety show. By the early 20th century, burlesque in America was presented as a populist blend of satire, performance art, music hall and adult entertainment, featuring striptease and broad comedy acts.
BUFS presents two full reels of rare burlesque, striptease and exploitive Scopitone musical shorts. Here is a unique chance to take a look at a collection of 16mm arcade loops and mail order adult entertainment from the 1940-60’s.
