Centering Chronic Pelvic Pain Group

Description

If you have Chronic Pelvic Pain and want to learn about your health and how to manage your pain, join our group! In the group, you will be with other women suffering from the same problem, so you can learn from each other and support each other. You will have access to a medical provider who will check in with you at each group to see how you are doing. You will receive a lot of information that is difficult to get during regular medical visits because of limited time. This information will empower you to better manage your pain and improve your quality of life. You will also be invited to voluntarily participate in online research to help health professionals better understand how chronic pelvic pain affects women.

Dates: 4:00 – 6:00 PM, the first and third Wednesdays of the month, from February through June, 2015

Fee: Most insurance plans, including MediCal and Medicare, will cover the cost of this group. Please call your insurance company to ensure that you are covered.
