Join South Bay Vegan Drinks and San Jose Woman's Club's Best Furry Friends Section for an elegant evening of vegan food and wine benefiting animal sanctuary Rancho Compasión. The menu will be prepared by celebrated chef and vegan food advocate Miyoko Schinner.

Chef Schinner has pursued a multifaceted career focusing on food, including running a restaurant in San Francisco for more than 10 years, authoring five best-selling cookbooks, hosting a vegan cooking show on PBS, creating award-winning nondairy cheeses, and starting and running a major company focused on manufacturing and distributing nondairy cheeses. She is the co-founder of Rancho Compasión sanctuary, a non-profit, 501c corporation that provides a home for previously neglected, exploited, and abused farm animals.

In addition to a great evening of vegan food, wine and drinks (no host bar, suggested donation of $5 per glass or wine or cocktail), we're hosting a Silent Auction for great prizes; all proceeds benefit Rancho Compasión.
