Celebrating Compassion July 4th Dalai Lama-Chenrezig Weekend Retreat With Gen Wangdu and Venerable Steve

July 6 is the birthday of His Holiness Dalai Lama.

We will be be practising the "Inseparability of the Spiritual Master and Avalokitshvara: A Source of All Powerful Attainments".

This is a precious opportunity to spend a few days just thinking about compassion for our fellow sentient beings, and meditating and reciting the mantras of Chenresig, the Buddha of Compassion, in order to develop that compassion. Some advice will be given by Gen Wangdu, and interpreted by Ven Steve, in order to help deepen our experience of this precious practice which is a Guru Yoga based on His Holiness the Dalai Lama as Chenresig, writtten by His Holiness at the age of 19.

Schedule:

Friday, July 2: Check in from 4pm / 7pm First session
Monday, July 5: ends at 12.30pm followed by lunch and clean up!
