FREE, family-friendly, nonreligious event! Oct. 1 - Oct. 3, 2010The Cathedral Festival of Flowers will welcome 30 renowned floral artists from the Bay Area & beyond. Visit & see a massive, 500-lbs., floating floral display suspended 20 feet overhead in this 19-story-high structure among other unique floral creations, workshops & exhibits. Attend an Ikebana presentation by renowned master teacher and artist Soho Sakai, who is a significant force in the contemporary Bay Area Ikebana community. Fee for special programs.
Friday, Oct. 1: All exhibits are free and open to the public from 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 2: All exhibits are free and open at 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 3; All exhibits are free and open at 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (except mass times)
