Spreckels Theatre Company presents the Northern California premiere of the Broadway musical "Catch Me If You Can,” the high-flying musical comedy based on the DreamWorks film and incredible true story that inspired it. Set in the early 1960s, “Catch Me If You Can” is inspired by the real-life adventures of Frank Abignale Jr., a teenager who impersonated an airline pilot, doctor and lawyer while traveling the world and passing more than one million dollars in bad checks — while in pursuit by Carl Hanratty, an FBI agent determined to catch him. “Catch Me If You Can” may not be appropriate for young people under the age of seventeen.
