Cumbia Tokeson (SF Bay Area): Cumbia Tokeson is a forward-thinking take on cumbia. The band fuses Peruvian chicha, rooted in 70's guitar and psychedelia, mixing grooves of Colombian cumbia and rock with guitar-driven melodies, while adding reggae, funk, punk, and a touch of southern Mexico’s son jarocho. Definitely sweat-inducing dance music!

Very Be Careful (Los Angeles): Exciting adventures has never been a task for Very Be Careful. Filled with a Caribbean soul and a California heart L.A.ʼs Vallenato veterans have sustained a decade of ceaseless touring around the world. Inciting fans without borders, and even some wild animals, to boogie and shake to the sounds of a Colombian coastal beat VBC break down barriers to good fun.

DJ Aztec Parrot (Radio 2050): DJ Aztec Parrot DJ'ed his first party in 1977 as a 7th grade student working the tables at a 8th grade dance. He has been collecting vinyl records since 1973 and has taken his musical presentation, The Eclectic and Sublime to many galleries, community celebrations, private parties, and fundraisers. He truly believes in the diversity of music and celebration with a vinyl collection of close to 10,000 records, 6 thousand cd's, and numerous gigabytes of music at his disposal.
As a radio host and producer, he started Radio 2050 in November of 2003 at Pacifica's KPFA in Berkeley, CA.
