The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco is honored to welcomeSicilian-born singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli for a conversation andvocal/guitar performance. Consoli will talk about her Sicilian heritage, theinfluences of Pier Paolo Pasolini's work as well as her recent theatricalperformances of her latest CD Eva contro Eva, which enchanted audiencesthroughout Italy.Time will also be left for Q&A with the audience.The evening at the Institute is an intimate preview of Carmen Consoli'sconcert at Bimbo's 365 Club the following evening (September 24).Presented in collaboration with Bimbo's 365 Club and the Regione Sicilia. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. Admissions is free!
