These three classical and jazz trained virtuosi from Brazil will blow yourmind with original compositions, magically weaving intricate rhythms and
rich harmonies to create a unique synthesis and colorful tapestry typical of
Brazilian music.
They will be playing from recent CD’s UIRAPURU and DANÇAS
BRASILEIRAS,
DANÇAS BRASILEIRAS transforms unique Brazilian rhythms and
folkloric dances into spirited, modern jazz compositions.
UIRAPURU-the mystical bird from the forest that enchants us all - is a
tribute to Amazonian chant and lyric. It follows the chamber music style
like DANÇAS BRASILEIRAS but focuses on nuances of Brazilian music
and the diverse paths revealed by Brazilian culture. Their music tells
stories of the forest and the beat of Brazil. Together, this exceptional
instrumental trio create a dynamic atmosphere saturated with Brazilian
soul, vitality and undiluted joy.
