Description
Hailing from England, Carina Round "has carved a singular path in music with her inimitable voice and stirringly varied compositions." She has toured with Annie Lennox and self-released the "ethereal and nakedly confessional" EP Things You Should Know. Round has produced her latest album with Grammy-nominated writer Dan Burns and collaborated with notable legends Dave Stewart, Brian Eno, and Smashing Pumpkins' front man Billy Corgan.The Bay Area's The Soonest describes their sound as "rich and haunting" and are often compared to The National, Aercade Fire, and Explosions in the Sky. In March 2012, the band completed their second EP, "Lions At Your Door" and are preparing for its release in June.
