Capitola—Dr. Margo McBane, Professor of History at San Jose State University, will be the guest speaker at the February 23, 2010 meeting of Capitola-By-The-Sea Soroptimist International. Her topic will be the history of California women.The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Brookvale Terrace Clubhouse, 300 Plum St., Capitola, and is free and open to the public.
Soroptimist International is a volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.
