In the vanguard of the “nuevo flamenco” movement, Caminos Flamencos co-founders Yaelisa and Jason (El Rubio) McGuire have dedicated themselves to the presentation of traditional and contemporary flamenco music and dance. Yaelisa is an Emmy award-winning choreographer and dancer, and the recipient of a NEA Choreography Fellowship. Jason McGuire is internationally respected as one of the top flamenco guitarists playing today. This presentation features renowned gypsy singer Kina Mendez, direct from Jerez de la Frontera.
