Description
Live music set to the ground breaking 1920's silent film, "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari."Goddam Ponies is an indie music project that is sometimes moody and ambient and sometimes loud and explosive. Consisting of distorted guitar, electric piano and drums, overlaid with beautiful harmonies, noise loops and tons of reverb, the band arranged their personal and brooding collection of songs to CALIGARI in a fit of madness.
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is surrealist psychological German thriller from the 1920's. Commonly known as the first horror movie ever made, and the inspiration behind modern films like "Shutter Island" and the "Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus", Goddam Ponies creates a soundtrack that illuminates the emotional core of the film.
