Description

The California Pops Ensemble presents a Family Christmas Special in honor of the 2009 holiday season. Festive sweaters, ties, and antlers are encouraged.

The California Pops is a Palo Alto-based 60-piece orchestra that has been performing in the Bay Area for the past 21 years, known for their irreverent, informal attitude. This year's Christmas show will break from the same old, same old with tunes like "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", "White Christmas", and music from "It's A Wonderful Life". Joining The Pops will be narrator and radio actor Alan Dale, who will recite "Twas the Night Before Christmas" alongside the orchestra.
