The Kuumbwa Jazz Center is thrilled to host Busker's Showcase featuring the Rainbow Girls, The Juncos and Maple Street Five. The Rainbow Girls consists of five women from Santa Barbara that play an eclectic mix of folk-rock and psychedelic country that is surprisingly catchy. Maplestreet Five perform renditions of old time classics like suburban gypsies, delivered with virtuoso ensemble playing. Giving a nod to the musical days of old, The Juncos play stripped-down, string-driven songs about lovin', ramblin' and people who have seen better days.
