Busker's Showcase returns to the stage at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center with a triple bill of amazing Santa Cruz acts. Matador is a three-piece band that is known for its haunting melodies, hard-hitting rhythms and Polish folk and Americana influences. Marty O'Reilly is a virtuoso of slide and Delta blues whose use of the guitar evokes the sound of past blues masters. Moonshine Jubilee formed in the streets of Santa Cruz, and deliver their songs in the old-timey, bluegrass tradition, making for a foot-stomping good time. To cap it all off, Richard Stockton of Planet Cruz Comedy hosts this evening of live music with his eclectic blend of insightful humor.
