Gallery Bergelli is pleased to present new paintings by Bryn Craig, on view from September 25 to October 30, 2009. The opening reception will be held on Friday, September 25th from 5pm-7pm.Bryn Craig´s oils are rich with luminous color. His subject manner lends itself to recalling a moment, a scene, frozen in time. Craig’s street scenes of familiar haunts in Marin, take us on our own nostalgic journey to that special night out with our friends, meeting under the glowing marquee at the Rafael Theater or gathering for dinner in a crowded restaurant in Larkspur. The street quiet, but aglow from the candlelit interiors, the neon signs of the business and a hint of moonlight are all subjects of Bryn Craig’s desire to capture and freeze the light.
