Description

Brendon Michael Walsh (born July 27, 1973) is an American stand-up comedian who is originally from Philadelphia, PA. He started his comedy career in Austin, Texas in 2002, where he won the Funniest Person In Austin Competition in 2004.[citation needed] He has appeared on season 9 Comedy Central's Premium Blend, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live (as his original character "Scary Monster", a terrible monster stand up comedian), season 4 of NBC's Last Comic Standing, in sketches on the G4 network, and on the Bob & Tom[1] radio and television shows.

The years 2006-2008, Walsh toured extensively as the opening act for the controversial comedian Doug Stanhope.

Walsh also performed at the Vancouver Comedy Festival, Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, South by Southwest Festival (SXSW), the first annual Bentzen Ball in Washington DC, the Fun Fun Fun Fest (Austin, TX), and performed at the Bridgetown Comedy festival[2] in Portland, OR, the Aspen Comedy festival, and The Montreal Just For Laughs festival again in 2010.

In 2007 Mr. Walsh won the $10,000 grand prize on the comedy stage at http://Famecast.com and was named one of the "Top 10: Emerging Comedians" on http://askmen.com[3] in 2008.

On March 12, 2010 Walsh performed at "A Night of 140 Tweets": a benefit for Haiti, produced by Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Ben Stiller, and Mike Rosenstein (Stiller strong and Funny Or Die) at the UCB Theater in Los Angeles. A dvd and download will be available on http://amazon.com with all proceeds going to build schools in Haiti.

Reverend Walsh is also an ordained minister in the "Universal Life Church" and has performed two wedding ceremonies so far.
