Description
A celebration of the book arts of all kinds presented by the Bay Area Book Artists. Exhibition and slide show of handmade artists' books by international, national and local book artists, artists' talks, silent auction, demonstrations and hands-on activities for children and adults, and vendors selling unique and editioned handmade artists' books, fine art prints and photographs, and book-related arts and ephemera. Photo is of artist's book "Memories" of handmade paper and roses with a sewn binding by Finnish artist Anitta Toivio. See it in person at the Book Arts Jam Exhibitor's Showcase. Anyone interested in the book arts anywhere in the world is invited to join the Bay Area Book Artists. We meet the first Sunday of each month for free workshops and the third Thursday of each month for a bookshare meeting at Room P-6 at Greendell School in Palo Alto.More Info
