Description
This exhibition presents painting and mixed-media work by artists looking for a new contemporary language to represent the figure. With a long tradition of figure painting behind us, how do Bay Area artists make this genre their own? Featuring work by Terry Furry and Philippe Jestin in the gallery, with photography by Lisa Levine in the hall.Artist reception: July 16th from 6 to 8 pm, in conjunction with Art on 25th Street’s Third Thursday
