A love story,set during the
Harlem Renaissance,

history, culture,
music and dreams.
It takes a dramatic turn when religion, lies, and sexual orientations collide.
This acclaimed and anticipated tale is set in 1930 Harlem, and touches on hot-button issues such as religion, reproductive freedom and sexuality. The play introduces a rich group of characters, scrambling to survive the early days of the great depression, and make some sense of their overlapping love lives.
At curtain, we find Angel and Guy devastated over being fired from the famed Cotton Club. What quickly ensues as the story unfolds is an electrifying jaunt that will keep you on the edge of your seats!
Directed by Michele Shay, featuring ROBERT GOSSETT -The Closer, twice Winner of the Drama Logue Best Actor Award-, Shinelle Azoroh, Leilani Drakeford, Joshua L. Green and Tobie Windham.
