Description
The '50s (and early '60s) just had a certain style about it, whether it was the cars, the clothing, the music or the films. The Blue Jean Bop, now in its fourth year, aims to bring all this vintage goodness together for one event. There's a classic car show-and a bike show. But the real treat is the two stages of music, featuring some of today's best pre-Beatles throwback artists. There's Lucky Tubb & His Modern Day Troubadours (old country/honky-tonk), Deke Dickerson (rockabilly, surf, roots) who will be joined by late-'50s legend Jackie Gotroe, ("Lobo Jones") Stompy Jones (R&B), Carl Sonny Leyland (boogie-woogie and ragtime) and several others.
