Description
Billy Joe Shaver comes to the stage at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center for an evening of amazing live country music. His first claim to fame was in 1973 when he released his album, Old Five and Dimers Like Me, which is now considered a classic in the outlaw country genre. He was invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry in 1999, and was inducted in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006. Billy Joe Shaver is a also a recipient of the Americana Music Convention Lifetime Achievement Award in Songwriting. Come on down to check out this country music legend!
