Comedian and author Bill Santiago goes in search of God, exploring the comic nature of the cosmic quest, in his new show, “The Immaculate Big Bang,” a workshop performance.With Special guest:
Comedian Alicia Dattner performs excerpts from her acclaimed show “Eat,Pray, Laugh,” which chronicles Alicia’s three-month solo trip across India in search of spiritual salvation -- dishing on everything from seductive French yoga teachers to scary Indian toilets and the true meaning of Masala Chai. “Eat, Pray, Laugh,” won “Best Female Solo Show” in the San Francisco Fringe Festival 2008.
Bill Santiago’s credits include: Comedy Central Presents, Premium Blend, Craig Ferguson, Conan O'brien, Chelsea Lately, Showtime, Good Morning America Now, ABC news, NBC TV Visiones, BBC World, NPR’s Latino USA.
Bill Santiago is also looking for religious leaders from all faiths and traditions, religious studies professors and scholars, theologians, etc. to participate in an open forum at the show. Must have sense of humor! Repeat, the invitation is for all faiths: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Mormon, Buddhist, Santeria, Scientology, Wiken, Druid, Jedi, you name it. Also interested in any professors, grad students doing research on neurology of belief, relationships between theology and science, etc.
