Description
Show Dogs Chefs’ Gayle Pirie and John Clark are partnering with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition on Thursday, July 22nd to offer “Beer & Bites” and raise awareness of the organization’s “Great Streets Project”, which is improving Market Street. Guests are encouraged to ride their bikes and will be offered complimentary valet bike parking right out front of Show Dogs.A wide selection of beers on tap will be offered, including Speakeasy Prohibition Ale, Black Butte Porter, Scrimshaw Pilsner, 21st Amendment’s Hell or High Watermelon Wheat, as well as bar bites including mini Field Roast Vegetarian Dogs, Homemade Lamb Merguez Sausages, 49’er Corn Dogs, Barbeque Fries, Onion Rings and more.
Members from the Bicycle Coalition’s “Great Streets Project” will talk about Market Street’s bright future including the potential for thriving sidewalks, public spaces and shops, supported by a fully continuous and separated bikeway the length of lower Market Street and much-improved excellent transit service – a Market Street that’s fun, lively and safe!
Proceeds will help support the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, one of the oldest bicycle advocacy organizations in the country. Founded in 1971, the SF Bicycle Coalition works to transform San Francisco's streets and neighborhoods into more livable and safe places by promoting the bicycle for everyday transportation.
