Description

Edelmann-Rust: Bassoon & Cello concert
at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Belmont

Rebecca Rust, violoncello, and Friedrich Edelmann, bassoon, will perform a classical music concert at Good Shepherd, Belmont, on Sunday, September 14th at 3:00 p.m. The hour-long, free concert (by donation) brings the Munich based duo to the beautiful setting of the stunning, early 1960s Hervey Clarke designed Good Shepherd Church. The duo have performed together for over 30 years. From their home base in Germany, this husband-and-wife team performs in America, Europe and Japan, including radio- and TV-productions. This is a rare occasion to experience the unusual combination of cello and bassoon in a classical concert with compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Max Reger, Gioacchino Rossini including original American ragtimesby Arthur Frackenpohl. A light reception will follow in the church's parish house.
