Grand Fanali presents a triple header at the Cafe Stritch with Bad Veins, Finish Ticket, and Color. Bad Veins is an indie rock duo from Cincinnati, Ohio, that features Benjamin Davis and new drummer Jake Bonta. What sets these guys apart from their modern rock contemporaries is their unique instrumentation: Davis plays guitar and keyboard, and sings while recording backtracking music on a reel-to-reel tape player, and even employs a megaphone and telephone to sing into. Finish Ticket is an indie pop rock band that balances melodic hooks, blues-tinged guitar riffs, and tight vocal harmonies.
