ABS presents a pair of glorious works that represent the epitome of 18th-century Roman and Venetian traditions. Two exuberant psalm settings for soloists, chorus, and orchestra by Handel and Vivaldi will feature the acclaimed American Bach Choir. Concertos for oboe d’amore and viola d’amore—instruments known for their especially beautiful timbres—will be performed by ABS virtuosi Debra Nagy and Elizabeth Blumenstock.
