His stories have appeared in The Atlantic, Zoetrope: All-Story, Ploughshares, Manoa, and The Best New American Voices and Pushcart Prize anthologies. Also featuring THOMAS PEELE, an award winning investigative reporter for the Bay Area News Group, whose critically acclaimed book Killing the Messenger, A Story of Radical Faith, Racism’s Backlash and the Assassination of a Journalist, examines race through the 2007 murder of California journalist Chauncey Bailey, STEPHEN BEACHY, author of The Whistling Song, Distortion and boneyard, DENNIS BERNSTEIN, author of Special Ed: Voices from a Hidden Classroom and host of KPFA’s Flashpoints, and Bay Area up-and-coming writer JORGE CINO.FREE admission – Cash bar exotica.
