UNTITLED gallery is proud to present "Awaken The Dreamer", the debut curatorial collaboration of Christine Bily, Mikaela South, and Lizzie Tilles. The gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibition on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 7-10pm. Refreshments will be offered by Cibo Cafe. "Awaken the Dreamer" will be on view through September 16th, 2009 or by private appointment.Sausalito, July 29, 2009 - "Awaken the Dreamer" is a compilation of work that investigates humanity's relationship to nature by challenging us to examine the roles and identities we have adopted within society. The exhibition is comprised of artists who, through painting, installation, and mixed media, deal with the shape our environment has taken in the face of society’s definitions of "truth" and "reality". Viewers are encouraged to consider this group of artists' redefined application and reuse of found and recycled objects.
