John Elder Robison comes to the Capitola Book Cafe to discuss his book, Raising Cubby: A Father and Son's Adventures with Asperger's, Trains, Tractors, and High Explosives. This book tells the story of how John diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of forty, yet was able to approach parenthood with a sense of humor, practical jokes, and puzzles to be solved. Despite not being able to detect his own symptoms emerging in his son, Cubby, John was always able to offer adventure and protection when it counted most.
