Description
We set up astronomy talks at bars in San Jose so that you can learn about astronomy while drinking!Join us at Uproar Brewing Company for astronomy talks, trivia (with prizes), and answers to all of your astronomy questions (well, most of them)!
There is also amazing food and drinks for purchase!
Our guest speakers will be:
Amy Furniss (CSUEB): The universe’s most extreme environments
James Radomski (NASA Ames): SOFIA, a flying telescope with heat vision
Tom Madura (SJSU): 3D printing and astronomy
Free entrance and open to the public.
All ages are welcome!
Warning: astronomers can get a bit excited when people listen to them speak, so some adult language may be used.
