Description

Presented by volunteers from the Peninsula Astronomical Society (PAS), Astronomy Day gives visitors of all ages the opportunity to view the wonders of the universe through the observatory's large astronomical telescopes. In addition, PAS volunteers set up their personal telescopes to add to the number of viewing stations. Astronomy day gives members of the community who may have never looked through a telescope the chance to observe celestial bodies first hand and get answers to many astronomy related question.
