ARTsoup 19’: An open-themed, all media exhibit of eclectic contemporary work featuring emerging artists from the Bay Area and beyond.Featured Artists: Alis Cummings, Jean-Pierre Fortin, Sylvia Gillespie, Scott Grabowski, Youngjin Han, Marilyn J. Hotes, Tim Leary, David Rose, Patricia Utter
The artists selected for this exhibit represent a cross section of contemporary approaches to visual art ranging from abstraction to realism utilizing traditional and ‘new media’ techniques in paint, photographic and print media. Curated by Matt McKinley.
About the venue:
Bayshore Studios is a commercial film and photography studio rental space used mainly for shooting advertising campaigns. In addition to traditional sales and rentals of the artwork on display, each installation promotes participating artists to Art Directors who specify and rent our art for backgrounds for movies and other film projects.
