Description
The Artists Guild of San Francisco is the oldest outdoor art collective in the country. Exhibiting art in public parks allows the Guild artists to speak directly with the public about their artwork, explaining technical details, creative decisions, and many other aspects of producing a painting or a sculpture.The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry and children’s programs with artists from Africa, Colombia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, the Philippines, Sweden, China, Venezuela and the Bay Area. Yerba Buena Gardens is located between Mission Street and Howard Street and 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown San Francisco.
