Description
“ARTISTIC BALANCE” continues Yvette M. Brown's exploration of bodies in motion. These figures are often falling or teetering over invisible obstacles and appear to hover some where “between our dreams of flying and our nightmares of falling out of control“ These large paintings are often split up over multiple canvases adding to the sense that her figures cannot be contained or controlled. Opening night reception Friday August 1st from 6-9PM.This solo show extends from August 1-31 2014.
