Description
The Journey Center Art Gallery will be featuring mixed-media art from Wayne Berger in a show titled “It's going to get messy”. (Appetizers and beverages will be served. Free admission.) The show runs through October.Wayne Berger has been an artisan/woodworker for over 25 years. Living in California’s beautiful Sonoma County, Berger has been inspired by the countryside as well as artists Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, Clyfford Still, and Barnett Newman. On May 2, 2008, Wayne Berger’s exhibition, called RESTORATION, opened at White Stone Gallery to rave reviews. Berger exhibited 24K gold, white gold, copper and silver leaf covered abstract panels. The exhibit closed on June 29, 2008. In the six years that White Stone Gallery has been in business, Wayne sold more pieces in that exhibition than any of White Stone’s exhibits with previous artists (Susan Hooks Owner).
