The San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness would like to invite you to join themfor “Art Auction '12.” This year the Coalition on Homelessness celebrates 25 years
of “Uniting Community To Forge Solutions To Homelessness.”
From Baldessari to Tamar Assaf, this year's art auction will feature phenomenal
works from some of the most outstanding artists, locally and nationally. The event
will also include free wine and beer, special culinary delights presented by Eshana's
International Cuisine, live musical entertainment and a raffle featuring great prizes, such
as a night at a B&B, gift bags from TOTT Global and more. The evening wouldn’t be
complete without live tortilla screen-printing by The Great Tortilla Conspiracy and live
art with local artist Brett Amory.
If you love art and you want to make a difference, or if you want to see what an event
like this can do for the community, then join the Coalition on Homelessness at, “Art
Auction '12” taking place Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:30 to 10:00pm at the
SOMArts Cultural Center / 934 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA.
This is a benefit for the Coalition on Homelessness. All proceeds will go toward
their work to organize homeless and poor people to create permanent solutions to
homelessness and poverty, while protecting the civil and human rights of those forced to
remain on the streets.
