The Studio Shop will be highlighting two remarkable picture frame artists, Mike Lang and Micah Paul.
Often overlooked in the art world like the band roadie who carries gear for the rock star, the picture frame actually represents the culmination of centuries of design and development to perform its duties to protect the picture, to visually enhance and to create a visual boundary that prevents the eye from wandering away from the art. This exhibition of remarkable picture frames reveals exceptional creativity, exquisite craftsmanship and even the frame as multi-media conceptual art.

This complex four stack frame incorporates many design elements to accent Foliage by Jason Limon. Utilizing laser cut 3d fillets, a vertically cut frame, and silver plated skull accents.

This custom frame design brings to life Lesslie Ditto’s Riding the Dragon. This three stack frame incorporates liquid embossed Komodo Dragon patterned leather, with custom steel fang spikes, and mother of pearl moulding.
