Get a quick flash of insight into the exhibition Do Not Destroy: Trees, Art, and Jewish Thought. For the Dorothy Saxe Invitational portion of the exhibition, artists were invited to explore the themes of Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish New Year for the Trees, and to incorporate a piece of reclaimed wood into a new work of art. Museum curatorial assistant, Claire Frost, will share three or four of her favorite examples, and talk about the creative and widely diverse ways that artists responded to the challenge.ADMISSION: FREE with regular admission ($5 after 5 PM); Advance registration encouraged
