Description

In this hands-on workshop, Kari Prinkle will instruct participants on the basic tenets of Alexander Technique, a movement and bodywork system used by dancers, actors and others to ease movement and create more efficient alignment. She will discuss how this technique may be relevant to artists as they work in and out of the studio.

Brook Budner, resident gardener with The Colima Project, will present basic concepts round sustainable agriculture as it relates to art and community building. She will discuss her work in Colima, El Salvador, last year and her yearlong work as a gardener and farmer in San Francisco.
