Description
The UCSC Music Department is proud to host the month-long April in Santa Cruz Contemporary Music Festival. This next concert features UCSC faculty artists Ben Carson on piano and Mesut Ozgen on guitar, as well as graduate student Giacomo Fiore from National Just Intonation Guitar. In addition, the UCSC Music Department is proud to welcome visiting artists Cihat Askin on violin and Cathy Apple on alto flute, as well as an undergraduate guitar quartet as they perform a variety of solo and ensemble works. Again, this concert is free and open to the public.The composers whose works will be performed are:
