Description
It's another all-cover, open-mic night at Good Karma. This time around, the theme is the pending apocalypse. I know it's tempting to play "It's the end of the world" by R.E.M. but surely you can be more creative than that! Here are some suggestions: "The End" by the doors-you'll have the whole crowd depressed by minute four; "Party at Ground Zero" by Fishbone (with luck, you can pull off a ska song on your acoustic guitar), "Christmas at Ground Zero" by Weird Al (this one is a holiday two-fer), "1999" by Prince (maybe an odd choice, since we're 13 years past 1999) and "Land of Confusion" by Genesis-this one will get the whole crowd singing along by the first chorus.
