Description
The International Museum of Women (IMOW) is an innovative online museum that showcases art, stories and ideas that celebrate, inspire and advance the lives of women around the world. Our multimedia online exhibitions reach 600,000 visitors from over 200 countries annually and inspire global audiences to connect across borders and take action to propel women’s advancement and empowerment.Celebrating Change is a vibrant celebration of women’s art, leadership and creativity around the world, featuring art and multi-media drawn from IMOW’s award winning online exhibitions. This year’s benefit will feature IMOW’s Innovator Award for Women in Technology, presented to Padmasree Warrior, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer of Cisco Systems. We are proud to announce that Tracy Curtis, SVP & Region President for San Francisco, Wells Fargo will be this year’s Event Chair. Our Honorary Chair will be Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz, President of Charles Schwab Foundation.
The Annual Benefit is the most important event of the Museum’s year, generating financial support, elevating awareness and increasing member participation. Last year, over 500 people attended the Benefit dinner and the Art Live Lounge, a parallel cocktail event which attracts San Francisco’s young taste-makers and future leaders.
This year, Vanguard Circle will again host the popular Art Live Lounge event for San Francisco's up-and-coming philanthropists and activists. Art Live Lounge will feature music and dancing, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dessert and live art installations. Art Live Lounge begins as Celebrating Change draws to a close, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
