Description
Four Shillings Short, a self-described "duo joined by whomever is available, depending on the gig and pay" is making a stop in Redwood City on their current West coast tour. Made for coffeehouses and warm, dimly-lit venues, Four Shillings Short began life as an American ode to Irish folk music, and in its current state, is a blend of medieval/renaissance music and sitar, delivered by the husband-and-wife duo of Christy Martin and Aodh Og. Tonight, they are joined by "unionmaid, hellraiser, and labor singer" Anne Feeney.
